Update from Scott on Saturday morning

Well, Ben’s asleep now and I’m checking email. Well, really, I’m writing in my blog instead of checking email. Tynan is all excited because he got his first cell phone yesterday. And the big kids are going to the American Idol concert on Sunday night in Providence. Big weekend!

 

I’m attaching a powerpoint presentation to this posting because I want to see what it looks like on my blog.

Danny – psyched to see you next week. And wanted to see if you were up for another early stage company idea to send out to your network of students and alums for feedback? It’s called Posterous (www.posterous.com) and it’s a really cool new blogging and personal publishing capability. All you do is send an email to post@posterous.com (which I cc’d here, so this note will hit my blog) and it automatically publishes whatever you write, and any attachments (files, videos, pictures, etc.) to your blog. Friends can subscribe or just log on and check it out.

 

If you think it’s interesting, I’ll have a more formal note put together more suitable for forwarding and soliciting feedback and we can go from there. What do you think?

Friend's World -- my first blog

Thanks to a cool new service called Posterous that we’re thinking about as a great seed investment, I can now blog from anywhere by simply using email and make my musings available to you and anyone else in my world who has the time to waste and the misguided inclination to have interest in what I have to say.

 

To test the concept, I’m attaching both a photo and a document here. The photo is of Benjamin, taken during our recent vacation in Nantucket, and the document is a draft of a chapter I’m co-authoring on Markdowns (shocking, I know) for an Oxford University Press text on Pricing.

 

Let’s see how this goes….
